VisioCure ASBL — medical call centre

Making healthcare easier to reach, for every family in Belgium.

A call centre that listens to patients. One message. One team. The right care, at the right time.

Transparency: when you write to us, you first talk to a digital assistant (AI) that draws exclusively on answers validated by healthcare professionals — never free-form medical generation. A person takes over whenever the situation requires it. (EU AI Act, Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, Article 50.)

24/7FR · NL · DE · ENNo commission on referrals
In an emergency Life-threatening emergency — call 112 On-call doctor — call 1733 VisioCure is not an emergency service and does not replace a medical examination.
How it works

Everything arrives in one place.

WhatsApp, phone, webchat, e-mail: every channel converges on a single coordination centre. That is where the added value lies.

1

The family writes

Through the channel they already use, at any hour.

2

Triage and listening

The assistant draws on validated answers; a person takes over as soon as it gets complex.

3

The file is prepared

History, clinical question, tests if needed.

4

The right caregiver

They receive a file that is already built.

This is not a teleconsultation directory, and it is not an AI improvising: it is a medical call centre built on a validated knowledge base — more than 30,000 answers written and reviewed by professionals.
Human coordination — nurses, doctors and care coordinators take over for complex situations, escalations and at-risk cases.
Orientation

Three colours, three courses of action

Every exchange ends with clear guidance:

Green — stay at home

Non-urgent situation. Remote monitoring and advice, with clear criteria for reassessment.

Yellow — prompt consultation

Situation to watch. Consultation within 24 to 48 hours.

Red — immediate emergency

Critical situation. Referral to emergency services, without delay.

The message matters as much as the colour: "when to see a doctor", "when to go to the emergency room", "how to monitor the evolution" — phrased in the family's own words.
The heart of the project

The three founding missions

1

Making healthcare easier to reach in Belgium

For families, vulnerable groups and people facing linguistic, social or organisational barriers. A single entry point, triage, rapid response 24/7.

2

Sharing Belgian medical expertise abroad

Making guidelines and care pathways proven in Belgium available, translated and adapted; supporting regional hubs connected to a central Belgian clinical core — second opinions, training, joint follow-up of complex cases.

3

Funding early-childhood projects

Parental education (sleep, nutrition, development, parents' mental health), validated content for young parents, support for nurseries, medical centres and NGOs working on prevention and early detection.

VisioCure is a non-profit association: surpluses are reinvested in its missions — first and foremost early childhood.
The framework

What is guaranteed

Clinical sovereignty

A caregiver decides, always. No autonomous clinical decision by the system: the tool prepares, the professional decides and bears responsibility.

Validated content

No free-form generation. The AI rephrases and translates; it does not invent. All content is validated by professionals before integration.

AI transparency

The use of AI is disclosed from the very first message, in line with Article 50 of the EU AI Act.

GDPR & patient rights

Explicit consent, protection of sensitive data, and retention in line with Belgian quality-of-care law and patient rights.

Ethics & independence

No commission on referrals. Remuneration exclusively for coordination and editorial work, in line with Belgian professional ethics.

The principle

Never online only

Everywhere, the service rests on partnerships with caregivers and local structures — in Belgium as in the hubs abroad.

Examination is essential

A screen cannot palpate a uterus, weigh a newborn, or observe a first latch.

Prescription is local

Prescribing means respecting the law of the country where the patient is.

Two entities, one service

Who does what

The non-profit — VisioCure ASBL

A Belgian non-profit association, founded on 3 March 2026, created by caregivers, based in Maisières (Wallonia). It carries the project, its social missions and the reinvestment of surpluses.

The technology — VeryPatient

The hybrid AI–human e-health platform VisioCure relies on: a 24/7 call centre, a medical assistant built on validated content, and a network of partner clinicians in Belgium and abroad.

In other words: VisioCure is the project and its non-profit frame; VeryPatient is the tool. The ASBL does not build its own technology — it uses a platform already in service, anchored in clinical practice. Learn more about the platform: www.verypatient.com
Healthcare professionals

Getting involved in VisioCure

VisioCure is meant as a space for collaboration: professionals keep control of the medical content, while the technology supports distribution, adaptation and coordination.

Editorial or scientific committee

Take part in validating the assistant's content — first of all everything related to breastfeeding, postpartum and pregnancy follow-up.

Pilot projects

Join a maternity, paediatrics or mental-health pilot, through the call centre and the platform.

Early-childhood programmes

Co-build prevention and parental-education programmes, funded or co-funded by the ASBL.

Institutional partnerships

Integrate VisioCure flows into a medical centre, a community organisation or a hospital.

Every sheet carries the name of who wrote it and who validated it. Quality is measured by the number of colleagues who countersign — never by stars or patient reviews.
